getting home after the ride?

So I am signed up for the ride, I just need some clarifications before we take off. Our plan is to drive down from Edmonton on Friday, register and check in our bikes at the Deerfoot, go to our own hotel to sleep for the night then get up and go back to the Deerfoot Saturday morning to begin the ride. (with gear being dropped off at the hotel). We ride Saturday, sleep in a tent that night (that has our stuff already there) and ride again Sunday.

Does anybody know how we can get back to Calgary after the ride? (my car will be waiting for me at the Deerfoot Inn...hopefully, so I can drive back to Edmonton that evening)

How long will it take the 'average' cyclist to do the ride each day?

thanks for any advice you can offer

My understanding is that there will be a shuttle back from the finish area to the start so we can get our vehicles and "camping gear" before heading back to the points we came from.

In terms of how long, well that will vary. What sort of bike you're riding, how well you've been doing with your training etc. For a ballpark, I'd say you're likely looking at somewhere between 3.5 and 6 hours of saddle time per day.
