By the way, the BC Ride so far has raised a whopping $6.9M towards Cancer research through the 1,401 riders who are participating. They have just begun their journey to Seattle a few hours ago.

I'm pretty pumped as well. I woke up at 5:15 this morning and had to go for a ride. Did 18K before work. So far, everything is functioning .... and the bike too!!
Looking forward to it. Legs are getting jittery and my butt cheeks are clenching tighter the closer we get. Hopefully I'm still able to have my P.E.P. before the start otherwise it's going to be an uncomfortable first leg until the rest stop.
Yup, tonight I'm doing the last of the maintenance things and getting everything all packed up for the trip down to the Ride.

My husband & I came from Edmonton yesterday to drop off the dogs and visit family. I am soooo excited I forgot pj's & my jackets & had to go shopping today. Don't forget clean undies or your helmets folks . If you forget the undies at least ride downwind of me okay ? Looking forward to hooking up with all the contacts I've made on the massage boards. Hope to see you at breakfast on Saturday. If not we can look for each other at the Bar U Saturday afternoon.
