It's unfortunate that this situation developed for you. I hope that you will choose to ride and that it will overcome the sour taste that has been left in your mouth to this point.
Yes!! The "HELP"line the 1-888 number is staffed with very well meaning individuals with no actual information to questions like the buses out of Sierra West. PRIOR to the decision being made to take us 200 km south of Calgary instead of a more sensible round trip the buses should have been arranged-- it took the Alberta Cancer Board admin until two weeks before the ride to guarantee them--; though it had been promised in mid-may. GIVE THE HELP LINE PEOPLE THE INFO so they can actually be helpful to callers instead of the oft repeated platitudes they have no choice but to make-- again not their fault the fault of whomever is running the show!

I prefer to chalk it up to growing pains....this is the first time they've done this here in Alberta. Hopefully for next year a lot of the kinks discovered this year will be ironed out.
These events are indeed a learning experience let's hope we all learn from it all both the good and the bad. I am looking forward to the ride itself my biggest hope is that everyone is safe!
