Cory was only 22...first began his fight with cancer at the age of 12 in the pelvis. He won the battle for 8 years but it was back 2 years ago. 2 long years of suffering with so much pain....at least the pain is over now....bye Cory Shay....Nova Scotia boy.
However, to lighten things up here - my dad's check up showed his bladder cancer is in remission and now only had to do yearly exams instead of every 6 months.

I read Cory's obit this morning - here's a bit of what it said....
Cory has donated his cancer-related organs to cancer research. he did not suffer fools lightly and no tolerance for anthing that would upset the balance of nature. His main concern was keeping the environment healthy for future generations. Everything was black and white for Cory, no grey area in between. One of Cory's favorite sayings was "if I don't return, avenge my death". Donations to research will help accomplish that.
