Saturday Camp Festivities....

OK, you are all probably laughing at me by now, as all my posts/questions are about timing/planning with the family, etc smile.gif

So, why not one more!

Saturday night, my sister (who I am doing the ride for) has little girls to think about whether to bring or not/babysitter, etc, so just trying figure out what Saturday afternoon/evening is like at "the camp".

Obviously family/friends need to brink their own cooler I assume for food/beverages (as I believe the Ride only feeds the participants/crew), but are there any festivities planned or more just hang out and chill.

Looking again for some feedback from last year.  I am sure it is quite a site seeing all the riders/tents, but with them seeing me off Saturday morning and there Sunday for the finale, and it being a 2 hour drive for them (they live waaay in the NW), just trying to get a feel for what get's a' shak'en down there.

Thanks again to all... getting excited with only a few days left!

Cheers,
Greg

for the most part its hang out and chill at camp.

evening starts with dinner (not sure what time - they had to switch it all up last year as the riders were all in an hour before camp was ready to serve).

the awards and recognition ceremonies (ambassadors, linda mikkelson and some cancer researchers get up and say a few words, thank the crew).

then music til 9. I'm pretty sure it's 9

there were lots of families and friends at camp - and yes, they need to bring their own food/beverages.

kids are definitely welcome - its an all age welcome place. and might as well get all the kids into seeing what its all about. mine might come out with daddy but since I'm on the crew and don't know when I'll be around...
