How does packing work? Should everything be in one bag or can our clothes be in one bag and our sleeping bag and pad be seperate? Want to make sure I arrive prepared and reduce the risk of losing something!
I don't think it matters so long as it's all tagged. I'm taking my own tent and gear in one sack and clothes etc in another. The volunteer army will take care of it.
The guidelines from past years are for one bag and it being There are people who bring more than one bag and even their own tent...but I don't know if the volunteers will set up your tent for you if you bring your own...you'd need to make special arrangements for that (if they will do it).
all your belongings must be in one pack - so a big duffel with your sleeping bag attached to it. everything must be together.
they only allow tents if you're renting a site (I have my trailer down there with a few friends on the site with their tents) but no, you're not allowed your own if its within the event site.
I asked them if I could bring my own tent. They said no problem, just indicate that you don't need one assigned. They don't set it up for you of course, you're resposible for that. I think you just pitch it in the same group area as all the others.
