Hello! Our team is hosting a fundrasing night at Schanks this spring. In order to have a 50/50 draw we need to obtain a raffle license. In order to get a raffle license we need to first apply to be deemed eligible for the license. When applying for eligiblity do I need to identify the Ride to Conquer Cancer and/or Alberta Cancer Foundation as the group? Or do I just put my own name and info on the application? If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate your help. Thanks
Not sure if you've figured it out on your own... my understanding is that it is better to identify it as related to the Ride. Something like "Team XX as fundraising for the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer Benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation." Government stuff can be a pain in the butt (read the regs / directions carefully), but hang in there. Hopefully your 50/50 goes well :)
