Oh man....I so needed that

Well, after a stressful week at work and a bunch of frustrations with bureaucracy, I needed a good ride.  Perhaps it was my "psycho" traits coming through, but I hopped on the bike tonight and went for a little ride.

It was 8pm, the temp was 9oC and it was blowing and raining...so what do I do?  I go ride the Anthony Henday (anyone for a highway night ride? biggrin). It was chilly, dark, wet and everything I needed to work off a week's worth of stress. Who says you can't have fun with a 66 km ride in the dark smile

Now that I've worked that out of my system, I think it is time for bed yawn Here's hoping you all have a great weekend.

Holy cow man!! Now I understand why you chose the name "Psycho". Riding the Henday at night. You're braver than I am.

ABS: Well, I make sure I'm pretty well lit up...the cross bike has one of my 15W halogen lights on it. :) A couple of my friends think my off-road lights will set the woods on fire when I ride the singletrack after dark....I just don't want to slow down ;)

LW: nah...gutsy, sure, but I don't consider myself cool (dang cold in the rain and wind on Friday...but that's not the same). :)

Funniest thing, btw...I got the nickname "Psycho" at work and not from my riding. Though some of my hobbies and riding have re-enforced the handle :)
