Hi. I live and Chestermere and registered for the ride last July. I have been training solo and did 3200km from April till November of 2009. I would like to beat that this year, and it would be way more fun riding with others. I tried to form a team but got no interest, so if there is a team here in Chestermere, I would love to join, train, and ride the Ride with you.
Hi - I am in Strathmore and would also be interested in joining with people in the area to train and do the ride with. Only got back into biking last year to do my first triathlon so haven't put on as many km but am working at it! Spent a far amount of time on the trail running from Chestermere into Calgary. I did my first ride of the year along the canal this past Sunday. For about a kilometer I had to push my bike through the snow, but other than that it was good. I am planning to go out again this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. With the warm weather this week, it should be clear sailing this time. You can call me on my cell at 403-616-6537. Don't worry about being slow. I am nowhere up to my usual performance after four months of not riding.

One of my cycling partners and I are doing the ride from Calgary to Chestermere (weather permitting) on Saturday the 13th, if you're interested in meeting out that way. We can ride back together... Just a thought.

Yesterday afternoon two of us left Chestermere and rode to Edworthy Park and back for a total of just over 80kms. Not bad for just the 5th time out this year!
