One could only speculate the numbers of this year's attending riders... However, according to the 2009 Alberta RTCC website there were 1,742 participants. That should give you a good idea.

Yeah....I heard that there were going to be more this year. I had heard 2250 or 2500 being floated around. Of course, there may not be that many actual riders.
2075 is the highest number so far! That's awesome that there's more than 2000 riders....this is our first year . We've been looking at all the pictures and videos from last year trying to get an idea of what to expect!
You're an early bird! I'm on the pit stop crew so I'm hoping to see my 1614 cross the finish line...I have no idea how this all works or where I'll be when but we're getting pretty excited...thank goodness for the pictures to give some idea of what to expect!
