Anyone know of good spinning classes in South Calgary? I have a trainer at home however it gets a little boring hour after hour- I am at Heritage & 14th St- Kara
There are several options for helping a trainer be a bit more interesting. I am hoping Santa brings be an ANT+ dongle for my computer and a subscription to an on-line baseed service for that very reason. Spin classes are a good option too ;)
Check with the local cycling shops...most of them will run them or have a line on someone running them. Plus, check any local recreation facilities....if they have weights and a gym, they often will have spin bikes and spin classes.
looking for training rides in the Calgary NW.....nothing posted on the website Calendar....who can I hook up with and when.....new at this and need the training
The One Aim team will start its training rides on Tuesday 2nd April. EVERYONE is welcome on these rides; you do NOT have to be a member of the One Aim team.
These rides cover the full spectrum of cycling ability and speeds...and apply a strict "no-drop" policy (i.e. no matter how slow a cyclist may be, they will not be left on their own).
All details are available on: http://www.oneaim.ca/training-rides.html
We're also holding a major indoor event on 13th April at the Southcentre Mall: www.cansuffer.com.
Drop me (Nigel) an e-mail at oneaimteam@gmail.com if you would like to be added to our distruibution list.
Cheers, Nigel....I should have remembered this thread when I became a member of One Aim and added that :)
For those in the Edmonton area who may be reading this thread too....the northern One Aimers will be having training rides this spring as well (once our roads are clear....stupid snow *grumble, grumble* ).
